2022 Analysis: Watch the Stranger Things horror movie and keep up the ’80s nostalgia

At the time, I couldn’t wait for summer to come because that meant no going to school, catching fireflies with my friends, and lots of lollipops.

Now, as an adult, that means high gas prices, uncomfortable temperatures, and if you’re lucky, having cocktails on the patio with friends while mosquitoes are feeding on us.

Do you know? I think I’ll stay home and spread some happiness.

Stranger Things season 4

I’m not a big fan of science fiction, but what makes Stranger Things so special is that it’s so much more.

It actually blends multiple genres, including horror and puberty, and nurtures a passion for ’80s nostalgia.

Season 4 has been split into two separate sections and it’s going to be big – and I don’t mean just in terms of child development. No spoilers here, but I will say that we learned more about the character of Eleven, who perfectly played Millie Bobby Brown.

The first part of the new season of “Stranger Things” is streaming on Netflix.

Look at me: XXXTentacion

Documentary "Look at me: XXXTentacion" It charts the rise of the late rapper.

Rapper XXXTentacion was only 20 years old when he was shot and killed in Broward County, Florida in 2018.

But his music, his charm, and his life live on.

Director Sabah Folian uses unseen archive footage and commentary from those who knew and loved him to tell the story of how XXXTentacion transformed from a kid with musical dreams into one of the most iconic hip-hop artists of all time.

The documentary will be streamed on Hulu.

“Ricky Gervais: Super Nature”

Ricky Jervis speaks on stage at the Season 3 premiere of Netflix "after life" At BFI Southbank on January 6th in London.

Ricky Gervais is more than disrespectful.

So it should come as no surprise that people are in an uproar over his new comedy special, in which he embraces a culture of abandonment.

Why did you make a list of what to see this week? Because I firmly believe that we should not stick our heads in the sand when it comes to controversial content.

Too often we complain in different ways about things we don’t know, understand, or have context for.

If you want to know what all the fuss is about, Ricky Gervais: SuperNature is streaming on Netflix.

Two things to listen to

Liam Gallagher performs on stage during the 2022 BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena on February 8 in London.

Speaking of issues, musician Liam Gallagher has also seen his share of controversy, including his controversial relationship with his brother and former group member Noel.

Liam Gallagher now has a new album called “Come You Know” and he doesn’t seem to regret it.

“I don’t think I made a mistake,” he told Esquire. “I think it pretty much went according to plan.”

The new album was released on Friday.

Steve Earle performs at the 20th Annual Americana Honors and Awards Gala at Ryman Hall on September 22, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Steve Earle honors one of his heroes.

His new album with Dukes, Jerry Jeff, pays homage to Jerry singer-songwriter Jeff Walker, who passed away in 2020.

“This record completes the set, the direct work of my mentor,” Earl wrote in his liner notes, referring to the 2009 “Townes” and “Jay” written after the deaths of these mentors. According to SavingCountryMusic.com. “The records have been set and released in the order you left this world. But make no mistake – it was Jerry Jeff Walker who got there first.”

Jerry Jeff was released on Friday.

one thing to talk about

Queen Latifah attends the 94th Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood & Highland on March 27 in Hollywood, California.

I was fortunate enough to talk to Queen Latifah about her weight loss journey and why she wants people to focus more on health when it comes to obesity.

She’s been incredibly open, not just about her own struggles, but how being a plus-size woman in Hollywood can create pressure from both those who want her to be thinner and those who want her to continue representing larger women.

She reminded me that you can’t please everyone, so you better find contentment within yourself.

something to swallow

(From left) Justin Hartley as Kevin, Chrissy Metz as Kate and Sterling K. Brown as Randall in This Is Us.

Looks like I received a DVD yesterday featuring a projector for a new NBC drama called This Is Us.

Yes, that was a long time ago – the networks were still sending out DVDs of their new shows.

Almost six years later, the series ended after tearing the hearts of many weekly viewers. He tapped into the feelings of life and family in such a way that people were talking about his great storytelling long after the show was on hold.

But to me, the cast of This Is Us were not only amazing on the show, they seemed to become a real family over the years as they started viral dances on social media and stayed alike, skyrocketing in fame.

Thank you Pearson – and all the other characters in your world – for the joy you have brought to your audience over the years.
