2022 – Anne Heche is in critical condition after a serious traffic accident

LAPD media officer Jeff Lee told CNN that the driver was traveling at high speed when she got off the road and crashed into an apartment building. The collision caused the car to catch fire and the driver to suffer burns. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition by paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department. The Lebanese Armed Forces said it took firefighters more than an hour “to reach, contain and extinguish the ongoing flames inside the severely damaged building.”

No other injuries were reported.

CNN has reached out to Heche officials for comment.

Heche first rose to fame in the television series Another World, playing the dual roles of twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love from 1987 to 1991 and won a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. This was followed by roles in films such as Donnie Brasco, Six Days Seven Nights and Wag the Dog.

Her romance with Ellen DeGeneres in the late 1990s attracted intense media attention at the time, which frustrated Heche’s career. In a 2021 interview with Page Six, Heche said she felt “blacklisted” after her relationship was announced.

“I haven’t painted a picture in the studio in ten years,” said Heche, who dated DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000.

Heche has recently appeared in several TV series, including The Brave, Quantico, and Chicago PD. Several acting projects are currently in post-production, according to her IMDB profile.
