Australian Consumer Group Calls for Better Cryptocurrency Registrations Due to ‘Late Laws’

Australian consumer group CHOICE has called on the federal government to better protect crypto investors while presenting a proposed regulatory framework for cryptocurrency exchanges operating in the country.

The regulatory framework was submitted to the Federal Treasury as part of the consultation process paper For “secondary crypto asset service providers” (CASSPs), which are defined as companies that provide cryptocurrency wallets and exchange services. WAHL commented:
