2022 – cheerful Jeff Goldblum steals Prada’s Spring/Summer 2023 show | fashion

Prada is a brand that doesn’t lack an audience of stars or celebrity ambassadors, but few have embraced the role as enthusiastically as your favorite star on the catwalk: Jeff Goldblum.

The Hollywood actor and notorious gentleman almost stole the show at the brand’s Spring-Summer 2023 fashion show in Milan on Sunday afternoon. Seeing more as a guest than a model this time, he held his impromptu press conference from his front row seat and explained, β€œI love wearing these clothes. They are my favorite items of clothing!”

He is not alone. A brand copied as required, under the creative guidance of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the company reported a 41% increase in total net sales at the end of 2021 compared to 2020. While the pandemic would of course have distorted normal accounts, when It comes to getting out of the house, there was no doubt that Prada was a popular outlet for communication.

As for fashion, Prada continues to set the temperature and trends for the upcoming season. The following summer, Goldblum and the rest of the front row of celebrities β€” including Rami Malek, Nkoti Jatwa, Jake Gyllenhaal and Song Kang β€” watched how the duo applied their approach to intricate fashionable clothing that belied the hype and justified price tag.

Skinny double-breasted black suits were worn with exaggerated cowboy boots; The daily duster was pink, orange, and cotton red; Comfortable blouses and jackets came with fluorescent stripes and shrunken nostalgia allure. Shaved collars from denim jackets. The tabard-style plaid shirts that generally meet were in place to add a Prada touch to traditional attire. It was a collection that celebrated the elegant, homey spirit, which is often overlooked or exaggerated in fashion, but in the end what Prada defines is what people want.

“The collection is about simplicity as a concept and choice,” Prada told the press before the show, adding that keeping it simple is also a trend. β€œIt was about clothes that people could actually wear, but with impact…a lot of what the norm is really a conceptual choice β€” a coat, jeans, a suit. Simmons agreed, adding that the individuality comes from the way you wear it.

“The clothes are classic, but their mix of contrasts makes them sexy and fresh,” he said, referring to a deliberate oddity. β€œThe combination of roughness and sophistication in these clothes is also important. The contrast between classic and spontaneity gives it a feeling and emotion.”

With no Prada or Simmons to comment after the show, it was up to Gold Bloom to have the last word. “what is this [designers do] He is very smart and unique with high integrity.” β€œThe clothes with the best character.”
