2022 – Fear the Walking Dead on Sunday may not be the last we see of one of the main characters on the show

Season 7, Episode 15 of “Fear TWD” was the final episode of Alycia Debnam-Carey, which fans probably didn’t realize when watching the episode.

  • Warning: Spoilers follow for Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 15.
  • “Fear TWD” Season 7 – Episode 15 refers to Alycia Debnam-Carey’s final episode of “TWD”.
  • Alicia’s ending was intentionally left without end to leave the possibility of the actress coming back.

Sunday’s episode of “Fear the Walking Dead” was the 100th episode of the series and Alicia Debnam Carey’s last episode of the series. However, it may not be the last time we see the actress playing Alicia Clarke on the show.

The insider has learned that fans may see Debnam-Carey return to Fear TWD in the future, even though Season 7, Episode 15 serves as her farewell episode.

Sunday’s episode concludes Alicia’s story now, according to a source familiar with the series. However, the way she exited the show is said to have left the door open for Debnam-Carey to resurrect her character at some point later.

What happened to Alicia at the end of season 7 episode 15

Alicia looked somewhat like a ghost in the second half of Season 7.

If you’re watching Season 7 Episode 15 for the first time, unless you have access to AMC+ and have seen an additional feature associated with the episode, you may have been a bit confused for the past few minutes.

By the end of the episode, Alicia appears to have succumbed to her mysterious illness (which is not clearly identified in the show). When Alicia wakes up, she looks radiant and rejuvenated. Her hair looks soft. The dark circles under her eyes disappeared. One interpretation of the scene is that Alicia may have died and we see an angelic representation of her walk the horizon, at peace knowing that she gave her life to save the people she loves.

Such an iconic moment would have been a direct parallel to Madison Clarke (Kim Dickens)’s final moments in “Fear” season 4. At the time, it was believed that Alicia’s mother would turn her life into a zombie apocalypse for her children and friends. (In December, it was announced that Dickens would be returning to Fear TWD.)

At the end of Season 7, Episode 15, Alicia wakes up from a fever looking completely rejuvenated.

For those who were worried about Alicia’s character dying at the end of the episode, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The episode bonus feature on AMC+ seems to confirm that Alicia was indeed alive at the end of the episode. Here’s how show co-host Andrew Chambliss explains what happens in the episode’s final moments:

“Alicia collapses and appears to be giving in to a fever. She wakes up and sees this bird soaring overhead. I think it is open to interpretation whether or not this bird really existed, whether she freed a bird from the tower, or whether it was all part of her subconscious mind.” And if that’s the case, maybe it’s just her subconscious mind, trying to guide her again We really wanted to build that kind of awakening all over again in Alicia, she’s gone through this amazing journey and now she’s standing up and going into some kind of new world with new power… We know she kept that bullet out of fear of spinning. The fact that she uses this on her treadmill is really a sign of that Alicia thinks she’s defeated this thing, and Alicia thinks she’ll survive… then we see her walk away from a victorious heroine.

If you’re confused as to why Alicia appears so lively and why her hair suddenly looked a lot more luxurious in the final seconds of the episode, it seems like the show was just trying to give Debnam Curry a heroic way out where she looks fit for the role.

Insiders were also given the impression that Alicia was not dead by the end of the episode, as we were told that Episode 15 of Season 7 is simply the end of Alicia’s story for now. The source added that the way the episode culminates “definitely leaves the door open for” seeing Alicia again.

Neither AMC representatives nor Debnam-Carey responded to a request for comment from Insider when they were asked to clarify and confirm Alicia’s mysterious illness on Fear TWD.

Why did Debnam-Carey leave Fear TWD while Kim Dickens returns? New role.

Alycia Debnam-Carey will star in Hulu’s upcoming Saint X movie.

Whether you’re happy with Alicia’s “Fear” style or not, it’s so frustrating that the final episode of Alicia’s “Fear TWD” is – for now (whatever that means) – taking place right before Dickens, and Debnam-Careys Mom starred in The series is in the first four seasons of the show, and will return to the series next week.

Previews of next season’s finale, currently available to stream on AMC+, and which the press won’t be able to talk about on TV until June 5, teased Madison’s performance.

Of course, fans are anticipating the mother-daughter duo reunion.

So why does Debnam Curry leave the fear game?

In May, the actress joined Hulu’s upcoming movie “Saint X” by Alexis Schaitkin. The eight-part 2023 series follows the journey of a young woman (Deepnam Kari) as she attempts years later to understand the death of her older sister while on vacation. Debnam-Carey replaced Victoria Pedretti (“You”) in the series.

Dickens’ return to Fear was announced in December 2021. In an interview with Insider, Chambliss and co-showrunner Ian Goldberg said they spoke to Dickens Zoomed in January 2021 about the possibility of returning to the series.

“It was a fact we had known for about a year before we could tell anyone,” Chambliss told Insider.

It would be wrong if fans couldn’t see Alicia again on the show now that Dickens is back.

What’s the point of Madison Clark’s return to Fear TWD without her friend and daughter by her side? Fans want to see the three OGs together again.

What’s the point of letting Madison Clarke return to Fear TWD if she’s never able to see her daughter again on the show? Part of the excitement and anticipation of Madison’s return to Fear TWD was seeing her reunited not only with boyfriend Victor Strand (Coleman Domingo), but also with their daughter Alicia.

The best narrative choice in Season 7 Episode 15 was to keep Alicia alive. Fans would have been outraged if Alicia had been killed by “Fear” thinking her mother was dead, only to reveal at the end of the season that her mother had been alive the whole time.

Even if there is a chance that Debnam-Carey will get back together one day, it looks like this has to happen sooner rather than later.

Although Fear the Walking Dead will be renewed for season eight in December 2021, as Dickens will be a series regular, it’s hard to imagine how many more seasons AMC could make out of the “TWD” cycle.

Unlike the series’ strong sixth season, the back half of season seven was tough. It often feels like homework as the characters make stupid decisions years after the apocalypse to put themselves in needless danger. Other characters, like Whis (Colby Holman), take sudden and unrealistic turns (a former painter and pacifist accidentally turned into a deranged villain late in season seven), which leads to their downfall.

At this point, “Fear” needs Alycia Debnam-Carey more than Debnam-Carey needs the show.

Currently, although the episodes air a week ago, the episodes are watched by less than a million viewers. The show has struggled to maintain a steady average of 2 million viewers since season four, when Dickens left the show.

Since Hulu’s Saint X is an eight-episode series, Deadline has reported that Debnam-Carey may be available later during filming of Season 8 of “Fear,” which is set to begin filming this summer.

This appears to be the best case scenario at this point.

But does Debnam Curry really want to return to a show whose ratings keep dropping? Unless the actress really wants to come back to offer fans some sort of Alicia/Madison reunion, it looks like AMC will have to arrange for Debnam-Carey to reprise her role. At this point, “Fear” needs Debnam-Carey more than the show.
