In today’s world, you can have different devices running different forms of Android. You can get an Android smartphone, tablet, Android TV, Wear OS smartwatch, and even your car’s infotainment system that can run Android as well.
All of these devices allow you to download different applications. But how do you know if the app is compatible with your TV or tablet, for example? This is the place The latest addition from Google is coming to the Play Store. as such 9to5Google After its discovery, the tech giant is currently rolling out a new section called “Compatibility with Your Active Devices” in its App Store.
To find the new addition to the Play Store, go to the page of the app you want to download. Then click on “About this app” and scroll to the bottom of the section. As explained by Google, you can see which of your devices is compatible with the respective app. Note, however, that the Store only lists devices associated with your Google account that have been active in the last 30 days. Each of your devices has a smaller section that displays information such as:
- Compatibility: Shows whether the app works on your current device
- Version: Shows you which version of the app you are going to download
- Download size: Shows you the download size of the installation file
- Required Operating System: Displays the version of Android required for the app to run

Keep in mind that the new section was first spotted by Google on the Google Play Store version 30.6.16-21 and is currently not generally available. Therefore, it may take some time before you can tell if the app is compatible with all your devices.
