2022 – Harry Styles dominates the UK charts with his new album ‘Harry’s House |’.

Harry Styles dominated the UK charts with the release of Harry’s House, the best-selling album of 2022 to date.

Harry’s House reached number one with 113,000 copies sold – a number calculated from streams, downloads and physical sales – and with Styles topping the rest of the top 40 combined copies on the vinyl chart. His previous album Fine Line returned at number eight on the total album chart, and his self-titled debut was at number 29.

The lead single, As It Was, is still at number one on the singles chart and is the longest-running single on the chart over the course of the year at its eighth week. Rounding out the top 3 songs of two styles: late night talk and music for a sushi restaurant. Only Justin Bieber (2016) and Ed Sheeran (2017) have achieved this breakthrough before.

The popularity of As It Was now continues to be the highest selling chart since its debut week.

Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar are at number two and three on the album chart, with new additions Everything Is Everything and M Huncho completing the top five.

Elsewhere on the singles chart, British singer-songwriter Cat Burns enters the top ten for the eleventh week and is the hit ballad of the year with Ballad Go, originally released in July 2020. For the first time in 12 years, La Roux makes the top 10 vocals In the chorus of her 2009 hit song In for the Kill on rapper Tion Wayne’s IFTK track.
