2022 – Honor unveils Dimensity 9000 equipped with 70 Pro+; The phone will be shipped on June 16th

Honor today announced three new phones, the 70, 70 Pro and 70 Pro+. Let’s start with the last model, the highest premium of the three. The Honor 70 Pro+ is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000, which was built by TSMC using a 4nm process node. The 70 Pro+ and 70 Pro both come with a 6.78-inch OLED display with a “Symmetrical Four-Curve Design”. The Honor 70 Pro has a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8000 under the hood, which is a very powerful chip but still less than the Dimensity 9000.

The 70 Pro+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The low-end phone on the totem pole, the Honor 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G Mobile Platform. The screen size of the device is 6.67 inches. Interestingly, all three models use a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor and a 50MP wide/macro sensor. The Pro and Pro+ models feature an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom (up to 30x digital zoom) and OIS. The punch-hole camera on the Pro devices features a 50MP sensor with a wide 100-degree field of view.

Honor 70 series (that is, all three models) can record front and rear video at the same time. And both Pro models charge their batteries at 100 watts. The 70 Pro and 70 Pro +’s 4,500mAh battery charges up to 60% of its capacity in just 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes (30 minutes in total), the battery will be fully charged to 100%.

The Honor 70 series will be available in the following color options: Midnight Black, Crystal Silver, Emerald Green, Frosted Gold and Icelandic Frost.
