2022 – Look inside these support planes that used to fly for work dates, vacations in the Alps, or to train pilots

The M600/SLS is Piper’s flagship model and the most expensive of the models I’ve visited with a price tag of $3.3 million.

This model is part of the company’s “M-class” — along with the M350 and M500 — all under pressure, a Piper representative told Insider.

The plane can fly at altitudes of 30,000 feet.

Inside, the plane was small in size but roomy enough for six people. In the back of the plane there was a small cargo hold.

Pairs of seats face each other, while each seat also features charging ports, cup holders, and headphone jacks.

The aircraft can travel 1,658 nautical miles with a maximum cruising speed of just over 500 kilometers per hour.

Because of their speed, people often use planes to commute between cities for business meetings, a representative told Insider. Nearly half of business travelers travel by themselves.

People also use them as recreational aircraft to travel across Europe because the pressurized cabin means the plane can fly at high altitudes over mountainous regions such as the Alps.

The M350 is built similarly to the M600. Families often choose the vacation travel model, a Piper representative told Insider.

About 1,000 of the helicopters are in service. Like the M600, the M350 seats six and has a pressurized cabin.

The plane has a maximum range of 1,343 nautical miles and can fly at least five hours, according to a Piper representative.

The last Piper I saw was the smallest of the aircraft on display, the Archer LX.

The plane is the simplest of the company’s aircraft, which people often use for training and obtaining a pilot’s license.

The cabin doors were much smaller, and although I couldn’t sit on the plane, I saw that the cabin was less spacious and not designed for leisure travel like the others.

Only four people fit on board. All seats are forward facing, which makes it less social.

One plus: At just under $500,000, the plane is much cheaper than other planes.
