Portraits of Queen Elizabeth II during her 70-year reign are on display at Stonehenge ahead of her platinum jubilee celebrations.

English Heritage, a charity that manages more than 400 historic buildings, archaeological sites and sites, announced on Monday that the 5,000-year-old stone monument in Salisbury, England, has been temporarily remodeled in honor of the 96-year-old monarch. family.

In a statement to Insiders, a charity representative said they put together the parade to celebrate the “historic occasion as the nation celebrates Queen Elizabeth II becoming the first British monarch to celebrate the platinum jubilee.” Among the eight images are pictures of the Queen riding horses and walking her dogs.

The Evening Standard reports that the National Portrait Gallery has also selected six portraits of Queen Elizabeth II from its collection to be displayed on Marble Arch, a monument in central London.

The newspaper added that among these pictures are Dorothy Wilding’s pictures of the Queen before her wedding anniversary in 1947 and after her accession to the throne in 1952 after the death of her father, King George VI.

Insider’s Michaela Friel previously reported that the platinum jubilee marks the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty’s accession to the British throne and will see a four-day bank holiday from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5 and is celebrated at Buckingham Palace.
