2022 – The most important costs! Here are my favorite sun protection products on the go | skin care

IImagine you’re attending a summer wedding, sports day, or just planning a trip to the park or beer garden. You have applied a generous layer of SPF and feel powerful protection against sunburn and premature aging.

What you may not realize is that you are only good for the next couple of hours. Depending on what study you think ‚ÄĒ from the Johns Hopkins American School of Medicine to the NHS ‚ÄĒ sunscreen should be reapplied every 120-180 minutes if you want it to remain effective. As with a lot of medical advice (say, five fruits and vegetables a day), this rule is scientifically backed – but are people very likely to follow it literally?

It’s one thing to keep reapplying your SPF when you’re lying on a secluded beach, but it’s quite another to take care of doing it on the grounds when you’re dressed appropriately and carefully applying makeup. So, as a dedicated but always practical wearer of sunscreen, I start with lotion and invisible no-touch SPF packs for over-the-top makeup.

my favorite is Ambre Solaire Moisturizing sun cream for sensitive skinOnly £6.50. I know I mentioned it before, but it needs to be repeated because it remains the best, cheapest and most important product that makeup wearers can buy.

It imperceptibly even sprinkles the entire face with makeup, adding a layer of hydration enriched with hyaluronic acid and SPF 50. The little aluminum can also be tucked away in a small bag, so you don’t have to compromise on safety for convenience.

For oily skin Anthelios Anti-Shine Sun Protection Invisible SPF50 + Face Mist from La Roche-PosayAt ¬£14 it’s the same cool idea but leaves a matte finish (there’s a kids’ version too). This can of course be used by the whole family but it is also an ideal option for adults with sensitive skin. Anyone with slightly irritated skin should generally go down the baby aisle.

Latest on the market (Re) Apply 100% Mineral Powder SPF30 PA +++¬£28, from Supergoop’s great suncare brand! (Not to be confused with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Wellness Empire.) Unlike the rest, this is a quirky, non-irritating loose face powder that can be applied liberally and regularly over your foundation, sunscreen and makeup.

I was expecting it to look somewhat dusty and lumpy as the day progressed, but it stayed light and fresh – it works successfully as a snuffer for sweaty noses.
